Who We Are

The Conscious Family Centre (CFC) is a nature-connected alternative education and family playgroup space located in Wuse 2, Abuja. We serve children ages 0-10 and their families, creating a safe, nurturing environment where young minds flourish through intentional play, creative exploration, and meaningful community connections.

Founded on the belief that childhood should be unhurried and joyful, CFC offers a respite from overstimulation while providing rich, immersive learning experiences grounded in nature and community.

Our Mission

To empower families through nature-connected, child-led learning experiences that cultivate curiosity, creativity, resilience, and a deep sense of belonging. We provide a safe space where children explore the world authentically, caregivers find community and support, and every family discovers their unique path to conscious, joyful parenting.

Our Vision

A world where children grow up connected to nature, to themselves, and to their communities. Where families feel supported and empowered to parent intentionally. Where childhood is protected—a sacred time for play, wonder, and organic discovery rather than endless external stimulation.

Educational Philosophy

At CFC, we practice nature-based, play-led learning that honors childhood development. Our approach shifts away from overstimulation and pressure toward:

• Unstructured outdoor play – Forest school and nature immersion as core learning
